Autobarn Coffs Harbour

I would never ever set foot in this shop again. I asked for a reverse camera that had a GPS map, I could use my mobile phone through and listen to music. The system doesn't have maps, the microphone wasn't connected, so couldn't use my phone and after installation, my brake light on the dash has stayed permanently on, regardless of whether the handbrake is on or not. I took it back to get repaired, they connected the microphone, said the light had nothing to do with them and said there isn't a product on the market that has a GPS map, reverse camera and blue tooth capabilities all in one. Interestingly, my other car has just that. I wasted two days of my weekend driving up to Coffs from South West Rocks to have this installed and it is still not right. I went to another Autobarn store for advice and they knew what they were doing, so I am guessing the substandard service relates only to the staff at the Coffs Harbour branch and not the franchise as a whole.

Overcharged, buyer beware! Bought a polishing disc labelled as $38.95, $1.99 mixing cup and $1.99 touch up brush. They charged me $56.95. When I paid, the cashier immediately threw the docket into the trash instead of giving it to me. Didn't notice until I drove home, 1.5 hours away. Either he stuffed up or intentionally over charged. Get your docket.

Would give a 0 star if I could I booked my car in to get an Apple CarPlay installed. Booked it in for 12pm I dropped the car off and before I left I showed them the Apple CarPlay unit to make sure they could put it in and they said yes it would be fine. They told me it would be ready at 3pm. I arrived at 3pm to pick it up and they said they ran late and only just started on my car because someone brought their car back and they fixed it over doing my car that was booked in. They didn’t notify me that it wasn’t started (I would have canceled it and rescheduled it for another day). Then for me to call them at 3:20pm to see how long it was gonna take as I live 40 minutes away to be told they actually can’t do it because they don’t know how to install it even though when I dropped it off I doubled checked they could install it.

This is a great place to buy your auto parts, easy parking the staff are so helpful & friendly, the manger Karl is so helpful he fitted our wiper blades & we are getting side window shades & they will fit these as well, Jet one of the sales person is so helpful as well so go to autobarn they also know what they are talking about, our new favourite place to go.
